The Band
The band, Elwood, the band!

RICHARD BARBER
Guitars & Vocals
I am and have always been a music lover. Making music I love is even better.
I am a multi-instrumentalist but my favorite and most accomplished instrument is the guitar. I have been playing guitar, writing songs and playing in bands ever since I was 16. I have been playing guitar a long time. Performed at so many venues and festivals that I won't bore you.
I have always gravitated towards progressive rock but have not limited myself to that genre. I like it all. I have a tendency to bring a heavy element to the songs we play.
I have also done more than my fair share of lead vocals over the years.
Gear wise I play through Blackstar amps.
My main guitar is a Charvel Pro mod strat.
I will also use PRS, Epiphone, Dean Zelinsky and many others. Music comes out through whatever tool you use.
ERIC HUBBELL
Drums & Percussion
All we know is he’s not the Stig, but he is the Stig’s drumming cousin.

CHRIS VASSAUX
Keyboards & Vocals
My musical “career” started with piano lessons from second grade. Prior to that, music consisted of singing along to records, in school and at home. I’ve always been a fan of rock music, especially as I got older. I was active in marching and concert bands, moving from trumpet, to french horn, to trombone (my best brass instrument).
I got my first “keyboard” my freshman year of high school, which I was using for Jazz Band, where I met, and started a rock band with Richard. After high school, I attended Ohio State as an Audio Recording major. I learned to sing in an actual ensemble (for the first time) there.
I grew up a fan of bands like Rush, Genesis, Marillion, and Supertramp. I like complex arrangements, and intricate playing. I prefer music a little edgier, raw, but fun to play.
My current rig is a Roland Juno-DS 88, and a RolandA-800 Pro driving a series of virtual synths. I tend to prefer synths to sample playback system, although I will sample, occasionally.
